For a while now, I’ve been immersing myself in the teachings of Dr. Joe Dispenza, among other professionals in regards to the importance of the mind-body connection in healing, and I must admit he has profoundly influenced my perspective on healing topical steroid withdrawal, eczema and overall health and changes in life.
Exploring deeper dimensions of life
You might label me as “woo-woo,” but after personally undergoing hypnotherapy and experiencing transcendental moments similar to Dr. Dispenza’s discussions, I’ve become convinced that there’s more to our reality and “dis-ease” than what our everyday senses perceive.
Mind-body connection
For those unfamiliar with Dr. Joe Dispenza, he delves extensively into the connection between the mind and body, emphasizing our ability to heal through thoughts and energy.
I firmly believe there is something to this, as I believe there is an energetic and what some might call “spiritual” aspect to all this. I am a strong advocate for the influence of thoughts, beliefs, and the innate ability of our bodies to heal.
Our inherent wholeness
We all enter this world whole, perfect, and generally healthy (not including genetic disorders – which are rare for the most part). However, as we go through life, adopt certain thoughts and behaviors, and especially if we experience severe trauma, our subconscious mind rewires, potentially causing disease in the body. Trauma is universal, though its intensity may vary from person to person.
Looking beyond the physical
What if we truly possess the capability to heal our bodies through thoughts, beliefs, and intention? While it might sound unconventional, there’s increasing research supporting the mind-body connection. Dr. Dispenza’s brain scans of individuals who engage in meditation and shift their beliefs demonstrate notable improvements.
Rewiring through meditation and mind body coherence
Many of us perpetuate the same thoughts throughout life, generating consistent feelings. The goal is to rewire these neural networks, achievable through meditation and hypnotherapy.
The body and mind perceive the external and internal realities as one. Shifting our internal state can consequently impact the outer world. Meditation and visualization become pivotal in this process.
Initially challenging for me, envisioning complete healing from atopic dermatitis and topical steroid withdrawal became more plausible through regular hypnotherapy and meditation. Addressing lifelong traumas has not only reflected in my well-being but also in the gradual healing of my skin.
Perspective shift for health
What if our bodies possess the inherent wisdom and energy needed for self-healing, and our task is simply to remove obstacles? Shifting our perspective to believe in the possibility of healing might be the catalyst.
I believe in the power of thoughts and manifestation, advocating that everyone deserves healthy, clear skin. Our minds and programmed beliefs often hinder us. A small shift in thought could initiate a domino effect, starting with the belief that any health condition can be healed. Embracing this change in perspective could transform both our internal and external worlds. Trying it certainly doesn’t hurt.
